ABOUT RILEY O’BRIEN POWELL
I enjoy learning about the spirituality of Jesus, his practices and what Jesus taught about God's Kingdom within and among us. I seek to help others realize that Kingdom or presence of peace within, in order that more of us may ultimately live it out in the world. My educational background includes a Masters degree in international human rights from Harvard University (M.Ed), a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Seminary (M.Div), a certificate of teaching from Princeton University and Bachelors in art history from Wheaton College (B.A.). Some of the ministries I'm involved in are: I am Theologian-In-Residence at Solomon's Porch Missional Community in Minneapolis, and a board member of Presence Ministry. I also am an ambassador for Opportunity International, which brings microfinance to women entrepreneurs in the developing world. My husband and I have four young children and reside in Edina, MN.
